All the google apps are part of andriod, hence you wont be able remove it. Leave the app un attended, thats what i do

settings>application manager>all>google+>clear data and do not log in again

to clear it from your application drawer first open the app draw up, hti the menu button and "hide applications"..... choose it and you never have to look again

If you're rooted, download Titanium Backup. Then find Google+ in the list of apps and "freeze" it. You can't uninstall where it's a system app, but if you freeze it... It is basically the same result.

Go to your your app drawer (any of your app screens). find an app that youd like to see disabled, long-press the app. There will appear on the bottom of the screen a pop-up list of 4 options. Drag the app you're long pressing into the area called 'app info'. You'll get a screen that should give you the options to uninstall/uninstall updates, and (for most apps) 'disable' the app. Click on disable to kill the app, and effectively keep the app from using any valuable device resources.

This is pretty much the same effect that iomega311 mentioned above with Titanium Backup (fantastic app, for many reasons), except that this method should work on a non-rooted GS3 with stock firmware.

Yeah I would say disabling the app is your best bet. I have mine disabled since I don't use it either. You can do as stated above to disable or if you go into settings, application manager then select all applications. Find google+, and select to disable the app. this will aslo make it disapear from your app list.
