cant turn on microphone to text!!
I am a nursing student trying to use a new app I downloaded so I can talk into my s3 microphone and it will type my 10 page review for me. However, just like when I am texting there is NO microphone. My friend has the S2 and she's all " click on the microphone" there is NO microphone to click on... mine shows a keyboard and then a T with a pen next to it so if i click on that....then it just brings me to the thing where you use your finger to write. can anyone help i am sure someone posted about this but I have looked thru so many posts its not even funny. you can write me on here with a reply thank you in advance to whom ever helps me out.

Kelly, welcome to the forum.
If you long-hold the T with pencil, a box pops up with your other options for input and the settings - the cogwheel. If you do not see the microphone when you long-hold, then you need to check your settings. You can access this directly from the cogwheel, or from the Main settings/Language and input/Samsung keyboard.
Check the Voice Input is ticked, which displays the Mic on the keyboard.
Let us know how you get on...
I've pm'd you regarding the edit to your post.S3 International unlocked.
