Yep. Go to data usage, and change the "Data usage cycle" time period.

I've been trying to get this right as well. The cycles on my phone cannot be changed from the 18th of the month to the following 18th. My billing cycle is for a calendar month.

I bought the phone on the 18th June, so I guess it automatically counts from the day of the first start up.

Go into data usage, and where it asks you what your cycle is, press it. You should get three options: the top two being dates, and the last option saying "change cycle". Select that one, and a screen will pop up asking you to select which day your cycle begins on (1 to 31). It will then take you from that day, to a month that day.

My cycle starts on the 20th and ends on the 19th, it does not matter when you got the phone unless it's a new contract, upgrading a phone on an existing contract does not change the contract period with Verizon.

My international, unlocked S3 does not have the option to change the cycle.

I just get the option of two date ranges.
