Software update failure - signature verification failed ?

I have been trying to update my S3 for a number of weeks now. It currently is running v4.0.4 kernel version 3.0.15-928452-user

I get the S/W Update notice or it comes up if I go into About device | Software Update.

I do the 284MG download and then do install, it restarts and then the CWM Recovery (5.5.0.4) gives an error for invalid command parameter, failed to verify whole file signature.

I have to restart. Does anyone know how I can get around this failure and do a successful install?

Try it on KIES if you have it on your PC...

I am not sure if that will help with a firmware but you can go to
Setting >>security >> unknown sources (put a tick)

Thanks. I have that option set for a good while.

I tried it on Kies some weeks ago before it was pushed and it failed, I can't remember the reason. I'll give it another spin.
