HELP! Need to transfer contacts from BB to S3
Hey guys,
I currently have a blackberry torch 9810 with the full size SIM. Well just found out that my S3 I ordered as a mini sim. Now I know that I can go to the ATT store and have them switch my contacts but I dont want to do that lol. IS there a 3rd party website that anyone would recommend? For some reason it also wont allow me to transfer contacts to my memory card.
Thanks in Advance

use bluetooth between both phone or back up your contacts from the BB to the computer and restore them on S3..then when they are on the phone you can easily copy them all to the sim ..
If any of the above you don't know how to do ..just come back and ask...International Galaxy S3
Jellybean 4.1.1 on 3 UK
64GB class10 SDHC external card
120GB External HDD - OTG cable - HD cable

Deerslayer, mea culpa!
You titled a thread which just looked like the many spam threads that we've recently been inundated with.
So the thread was removed and you were automatically banned - then I saw that you were a genuine poster. I'm sorry, but I am not able to re-instate the account. As a new member, it may be quicker/easier to set up another account. Apologies.

Hi All
I have transferred my 344 contacts from my Blackberry to a new S3 via Bluetooth. But, when I look in my S3 contacts there is nothing there. I then select import, from SD card and it says ' No Vcard file found on the SD card.' I can look in the S3 files and see the contacts lists on the card. Each entry is listed as a '. contact file'. What am I doing wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Yes, I followed that procedure for the transfer, which worked fine. It took just seconds to send the entire contacts file across.
But now I can't view them on the S3 in the contacts page. I can view the file and all it's contents on the SD card with no problem but I can't import it to the contacts page. It seems the blackberry format isn't what the S3 is expecting!

Did you have the option transfer contacts on the BB, like Aleh?

I don't think so. Following the instructions in the link gives just 1 option to transfer contacts. The BB is a works issue so is locked down in a lot of ways.

You shouldn't have to import again following the transfer, the contacts should just be there.
Try again - * first pair the two phones Bluetooth...once paired highlight the Samsung on the blackberry till menu appears then select transfer contacts option.
If that doesn't work, you could try via Google sync or Kies.
