Screen won't turn on. But notifications light lights up and same with buttons?

Yesterday, right after I made a phone call, my screen for my galaxy went blank. Now it wont turn on at all. Like the screen is like how it would be when turned off. However, the phone itself still works. The phone rings up whenever I get a text or a call, the notification light still lights up, and whenever I hit the power button, the bottom lights light up. But the screen isnt working. HELP

I got the same problem, that too today itself!! Is it connected to some update? I had done Samsung Account update today. Phone worked fine till evening. And then suddenly at 7PM screen went blank (sometimes shows total pink). Phone works, like receiving calls etc. but screen is total black.

Strange!! Any solutions?

Just been to the service centre. They diagnosed it as a LCD screen problem. They will be replacing the screen.

Did you visit the service centre?
